These little cross stitch partridges hatched from a challenge posed by a very talented collective of needlework designers https://ourcommonthreadco.com to design a Christmas ornament and raise money for charity.
This year I have designed four cross stitch baubles and all proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated directly to Solar Aid. This international organisation is working to combat poverty and climate change in sub-Saharan Africa. Through its social enterprise, SunnyMoney, SolarAid are providing access to solar lights in some of the most remote regions of Malawi and Zambia. Constantly innovating new ways of giving access to clean, renewable energy to families living without electricity, SolarAid are working towards leaving no one in the dark by 2030.
