This cross stitch Christmas biscornu is available either as a stash busting free PDF pattern or as a kit containing everything you need to make this Christmas ornament; Full colour instructions and charts, Zweigart Cashel 28 count white linen, Anchor standed embroidery threads, Japanese seed beads, Large glass central beads and John James cross stitch needle.
You simply need to add a little time, plenty of enthusiasm and a small amount of stuffing, either traditional polyester, lavender or poly pellets.
The quirky design is actualy much easier to stitch than it appears. Two different counted cross stitch patterns are stitched individually over two threads of the linen to give 14 stitches per inch. The finished pieces of needlework are offset at right angles and when whip stitched together the shape literally folds itself. Japanese seed beads are incorporated into the whip stitching and a larger glass bead sewn in the centre to finish.
The seed and glass beads may vary in colour from those shown on the packaging but they will complement the design.
Finished size approximately 10cm x 10cm x 4cm
